Kinley was born with a rare venous malformation affecting her neck, airway, mouth, tongue, and major blood vessels in her chest. From the beginning, her childhood has included complex medical care that no child should have to face.
So far, Kinley has undergone 22 surgeries and procedures under anesthesia to treat the malformation. Along the way, she has faced blood clots, significant pain, severe sleep apnea, airway complications, bleeding issues, and the difficult recoveries that follow repeated procedures.
And yet, Kinley continues to bring light to the people around her. She is described by her family as a joyful, spirited little girl who loves art and dancing — someone whose personality continues to shine through everything she has endured.
In April 2026, Kinley’s family learned about a new treatment option for complex venous malformations. The treatment is being offered in Italy, but the journey begins with travel to New York to meet the doctor leading her care. After that, Kinley and her family expect to travel to Italy for an extended stay covering treatment, recovery, and follow-up.
For her family, this represents the possibility of a childhood with fewer painful interventions and fewer high-risk procedures. It is a chance to pursue a different path after years of surgeries, uncertainty, and recovery.
Support through this campaign can help offset the costs connected to that journey — travel to New York, international travel to Italy, lodging during an extended stay, treatment-related expenses, recovery needs, and the practical costs a family faces while staying close to a child receiving complex care.
Every contribution, no matter the size, can help Kinley’s family focus more of their energy on her care and the road ahead. If donating is not possible, sharing her story can still help it reach someone who may be able to help.
Please help us stand beside Kinley and her family as they take the next steps toward this treatment. Your kindness can help make an overwhelming journey feel a little more possible.
